Ekzeto Wiki

Tribes (Factions)

Tribes are the social backbone of Ekzeto. Band together with other players to share a treasury, compete in weekly challenges, unlock type bonuses, and strengthen one another — as iron sharpens iron.

Proverbs 27:17: “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

Joining a Tribe

Navigate to the Tribe page from the game menu and browse available tribes. Each tribe has one of three join modes:

  • Open — Click “Join” to become a member immediately.
  • Request — Submit a join request with an optional message. Officers or leaders approve or deny it.
  • Invite Only — You can only join if a tribe officer or leader sends you an invite.

You can only belong to one tribe at a time. To join a different tribe, you must leave your current one first.

Creating a Tribe

Creating a tribe requires level 10 and costs 10,000 TributeCoins. You become the Leader automatically.

Choose a unique name (3–30 characters), a description, a faction type, and a join mode.

Each tribe starts with a capacity of 10 members.

Faction Types & Bonuses

Each faction type has a unique passive bonus that scales across 10 tiers as your faction unlocks skills. The bonus starts small and grows with each tier — reach tier 10 by unlocking all 15 skills across the three trees.

Covenant Points & Skill Trees

Your tribe accumulates Covenant Points (CP) as members engage in gameplay. Leaders and officers spend CP to permanently unlock skills — powerful bonuses that grow stronger the deeper into each tree you go.

Each faction type has 3 skill trees, each with 5 skills that must be unlocked in order.

CP earned per action:

  • Quest completion: +10 CP
  • Scripture study: +5 CP
  • Deep study completion: +15 CP
  • Training session: +3 CP
  • Marketplace purchase: +2 CP

CP cost per skill depth:

  • Depth 1 — 1,000 CP
  • Depth 2 — 5,000 CP
  • Depth 3 — 20,000 CP
  • Depth 4 — 60,000 CP
  • Depth 5 — 133,000 CP

Full tree: 219,000 CP. All 3 trees: 657,000 CP. Designed for years of dedicated play.

Roles

Roles determine what a member can do within the tribe. They are separate from ranks (see below).

RoleDescription
LeaderThe founder or appointed head of the tribe. Full management authority: set roles, ranks, join mode, kick members, transfer leadership, and disband.
Co-LeaderSecond in command. Can set roles (except co-leader), set ranks, manage join mode, kick lower-ranked members, invite players, and manage join requests.
OfficerTrusted members who can kick members, invite players, and manage join requests.
MemberFull members of the tribe in good standing.

Biblical Ranks

Each faction type has 7 unique biblical ranks, from lowest (1) to highest (7). Ranks are honorific titles assigned by the leader or co-leader — they represent honor and status, not permissions.

Treasury

Every tribe has a shared treasury of TributeCoins. Members can donate to the treasury at any time.

Donations are tracked — the tribe page shows each member’s lifetime contribution.

The treasury is used for the Siege of Darkness enrollment fee (200 TC per week) and collective purchases.

Leadership & Management

Leaders have full authority: set roles, ranks, join mode, kick members, transfer leadership, and disband the tribe.

Co-Leaders can set roles (except co-leader), set ranks, manage join mode, and kick lower-ranked members.

Officers can kick members, invite players, and manage join requests.

To disband a tribe, the Leader must first kick all other members. The tribe will be permanently deleted.

Leaders cannot leave their tribe — they must transfer leadership to another member first.

If a Leader is inactive for 14 days, leadership automatically passes to the highest-ranking eligible member (co-leader first, then officer, then member — using biblical rank and contribution to break ties).

Siege of Darkness

Ephesians 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world.”

Each week, tribes rally together to push back the forces of darkness. This is a weekly competitive event where tribes earn points through the collective faithful actions of their members.

Schedule (UTC)

  • Monday 00:00 — Enrollment opens
  • Tuesday 23:59 — Enrollment deadline
  • Wednesday – Thursday — Preparation (no scoring)
  • Friday 00:00 – 23:59 — Siege active! All member actions earn points

Enrollment

Leaders or Officers enroll their tribe before the Tuesday deadline. Enrollment costs 200 TC from the tribe treasury. At least 2 tribes must enroll for the event to run.
