Terms of Use
Effective: 1 March 2026
“Let all things be done decently and in order.”
— 1 Corinthians 14:40 (KJV)
Welcome to Ekzeto — a game built to engage you with the Word of God. By creating an account or using any part of the game or this wiki, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully and prayerfully.
1. Who We Are
Ekzeto is a biblical MMO whose name comes from the Greek ἐκζητέω — "to seek out diligently" (Hebrews 11:6). Every mechanic, quest, and item is rooted in scripture. Our goal is to make a genuinely fun game that teaches the Bible, its stories, and its characters.
2. Beta Status
“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?”
— Luke 14:28
Ekzeto is currently in beta. We are actively developing the game and working to deliver the best experience we can. While we will do our best to keep the service running and preserve player data, the beta period carries inherent risks that all players should understand before playing or making any purchases.
- Service may experience temporary outages, maintenance windows, or extended downtime without advance notice.
- In rare cases, service may be terminated entirely during the beta period.
- Player progress, stats, inventories, and other game data may be partially or fully reset as we develop and rebalance the game.
- Game mechanics, content, balancing, and features are subject to change at any time.
- We make no guarantee of data preservation during the beta period, though we will make every reasonable effort to protect player progress.
3. Purchases & Refund Policy
“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7
Ekzeto is free to play. All purchases — including Patron tips — are voluntary contributions that support the continued development of the game. You may purchase at any time, and contributions stack (e.g. buying Patron days while you still have an active badge adds more days). Purchases currently grant cosmetic benefits (such as the Patron badge) for a fixed duration.
All purchases are final and non-refundable. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept the risks described in the Beta Status section above, including the possibility of service interruption or player data resets.
If your account is suspended or terminated for violating these Terms of Use, you forfeit any remaining time on purchased benefits (such as Patron badge days) without refund. This applies to both temporary suspensions and permanent terminations.
- All purchases are non-refundable.
- Violation of the Terms of Use forfeits any remaining purchased benefits without refund.
- Beta-related service interruptions or player resets do not entitle you to a refund.
4. Community Covenant
Ekzeto is a community. Scripture calls us to treat one another with love, honesty, and respect. The following principles govern how players must behave at all times:
Treat others as you wish to be treated
“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them.” — Matthew 7:12
Harassment, bullying, threats, targeted abuse, or any conduct that demeans another player is strictly prohibited.
Speak with honesty and grace
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying.” — Ephesians 4:29
Obscene, profane, hateful, or sexually explicit language is not permitted in usernames, chat, or any player-generated content.
Do not defraud or deceive
“Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is His delight.” — Proverbs 11:1
Cheating, exploiting bugs, using unauthorized third-party tools, scamming other players in trades, or any form of deception is forbidden.
Respect differences; avoid division
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” — Matthew 5:9
Discrimination based on race, nationality, gender, denomination, or background is not tolerated. Ekzeto welcomes all who diligently seek Him.

- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Do not share your login credentials with others.
- Your username must not be offensive, impersonate another person, or misuse the name of God or scripture.
6. Prohibited Actions
The following are expressly forbidden:
- Automated bots, scripts, or macros that interact with the game without human input
- Exploiting bugs or unintended mechanics for personal gain (report them instead)
- Selling, buying, or transferring accounts for real-world currency

- Disrupting the game servers or other players' connections
- Using the game to promote, recruit for, or fund any non-affiliated organization

7. Content Standards
Ekzeto is a faith-based game. All content — including usernames, messages, and any player-generated content — must align with biblical values. Content that contradicts, mocks, or blasphemes scripture, God, or Jesus Christ will be removed and may result in account termination.
8. Enforcement
“For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil.”
— Romans 13:3
Violations of these Terms may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination depending on severity and frequency. We reserve the right to take action at our sole discretion. Our aim is always restoration, not punishment — but persistent violations will not be tolerated.
For any questions, to report a violation, or to appeal an action taken against your account, contact us at support@ekzeto.com.
9. Intellectual Property
All game art, code, design, characters, and wiki content are owned by Ekzeto and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission. Scripture quotations are from the public domain King James Version (KJV).
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Ekzeto is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for lost game progress, items, or any indirect damages arising from use of the service. We may modify, suspend, or shut down the game at any time.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Ekzeto after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
— Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
Thank you for being part of the Ekzeto community. Play with faith, honesty, and love.
